1. General Terms & Onboarding
By registering as a seller on the YourBaazar platform, you ("Seller") agree to comply with all policies, rules, and obligations stated herein.
Seller must provide accurate legal documents, business information, GST details, bank account details, and valid identity/address proof.
YourBaazar reserves the right to review, approve, or reject seller applications at its sole discretion.
If uploaded documents are unsatisfactory, incomplete, forged, or unverifiable, YourBaazar may request re-upload, temporary suspension, or permanent blocking of the seller account.
Seller approval is mandatory before any product listing goes live.
Approval/rejection of documents shall be communicated via registered email/YourBaazar dashboard.
YourBaazar reserves the right to perform KYC re-verification anytime.
Sellers must comply with all applicable laws including GST, Consumer Protection Act, IT Act, and e-commerce regulations in India.
By accepting this agreement, the seller authorizes YourBaazar to collect, store, and process data related to sales, settlements, logistics, and disputes.
Any violation of this policy may result in suspension, withholding of settlements, or permanent termination.
2. Product Listing & Approval
Sellers must submit product details, images, pricing, and shipping details for approval.
Every new product request must be submitted through the seller dashboard.
YourBaazar will review the product request within 24 hours.
Upon approval, the product will be listed on YourBaazar marketplace within the next 24 hours.
Products found misleading, fake, counterfeit, or violating intellectual property rights will be rejected.
Important: Banned items such as illegal products, narcotics, weapons, hazardous chemicals, expired goods, or items restricted under law are strictly prohibited.
Seller must maintain accurate stock availability in the system.
Any discrepancy in stock may result in order cancellation and penalties.
Sellers must ensure high-quality product images with clear descriptions.
Product pricing must include applicable GST and comply with MRP regulations.
3. Shipping & Delivery
YourBaazar follows a Hybrid Shipping Model where shipping charges are partly paid by customers and partly borne by sellers.
Each product will have a Base Shipping Price defined by the seller.
The base shipping price will be collected from the customer at checkout.
If the actual shipping cost exceeds the base price, the excess amount shall be borne by the seller.
The same base shipping price applies to multiple quantities of the same product.
If a customer orders more than one unit of the same product, shipping is charged only once (until free shipping threshold is met).
Free Shipping Threshold: If the order value is ₹1500 or above, the entire shipping cost will be free for the customer.
In such cases, YourBaazar will recover the applicable shipping charges directly from the seller.
Sellers are responsible for securely packing orders in accordance with YourBaazar guidelines.
Every package must carry YourBaazar-branded packaging/taping.
Sellers may use additional branding/labels for their store or brand, but YourBaazar packaging is mandatory.
Sellers must keep orders packed and ready for pickup as per courier partner schedules.
Delay in order dispatch may affect seller ratings and payouts.
Seller must provide invoices for every order in compliance with GST laws.
YourBaazar reserves the right to assign courier partners; seller cannot override.
Any damage during transit due to poor packaging will be seller's liability.
In case of courier disputes, YourBaazar's decision will be final.
Shipping status will be tracked through the seller dashboard.
Sellers must co-operate in case of lost or delayed shipments.
Non-adherence to shipping SLAs may result in penalties.
4. Payment & Settlements
Payments for successful orders will be credited to the seller's YourBaazar Wallet.
Wallet settlement cycle operates weekly.
Orders delivered and accepted till Friday night will be added for settlement.
Settlement processing is carried out on Saturday and Sunday.
Final transfer to the seller's registered bank account is made on Monday.
Sellers are responsible for providing accurate bank details.
Bank charges for NEFT/IMPS/RTGS will be borne by the seller.
In case of failed transfers due to incorrect bank details, reprocessing charges may apply.
Online payments received through YourBaazar are subject to standard bank/payment gateway charges, which are deducted before settlement.
Sellers will receive payment summaries, including deductions, in the wallet transaction history.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD facility is available subject to YourBaazar approval.
An additional COD Handling Fee will be charged on each COD order.
This COD fee will be deducted from seller settlements.
COD amounts collected by courier will be credited to YourBaazar first.
Final COD settlement will follow the standard weekly cycle.
Sellers are advised to pack COD orders securely to avoid RTO losses.
High RTO rates may lead to COD disablement for the seller.
RTO (Return to Origin) due to customer rejection will be borne by the seller.
Disputes in COD settlements must be raised within 7 working days.
YourBaazar's reconciliation records will be considered final.
6. Returns & Refunds
Customers may initiate returns as per YourBaazar Return Policy.
Accepted reasons include damaged product, wrong product, defective item, or unmet description.
Returns are processed via reverse logistics by YourBaazar.
Seller must accept all valid returns.
Refusal to accept returns will result in penalties.
Upon successful return pickup, the product will be delivered back to the seller.
Refunds to customers are managed by YourBaazar directly.
Refund amount will be adjusted against seller settlements.
Settlement for returns will reflect in Seller Wallet History.
Sellers can track return/refund status in the dashboard.
Frequent returns due to quality issues may lead to de-listing.
Fraudulent claims by sellers may result in account suspension.
Sellers must conduct internal QC to reduce return ratio.
Return shipping costs are borne by the seller.
Refund disputes must be raised within 5 working days.
7. Seller Responsibilities
Seller is responsible for product authenticity and legality.
Counterfeit products will result in permanent blocking.
Seller must maintain updated inventory at all times.
Price manipulation or fake discounts are prohibited.
Seller must honor all confirmed orders.
Cancellations by sellers may affect ratings.
Sellers must maintain good customer service via messages.
Misuse of customer data is strictly prohibited.
Seller must comply with return acceptance.
Seller must participate in periodic YourBaazar sales campaigns.
Packaging standards must be strictly followed.
Seller must ensure all labels/barcodes are correct.
Invoice value must match product listing value.
Seller must not list duplicate products to manipulate visibility.
Any violation will be treated as policy breach.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes between seller and YourBaazar, both parties agree to resolve amicably.
Escalation matrix will be shared via dashboard.
If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to arbitration under Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
Jurisdiction will lie in Delhi, India.
Sellers agree not to initiate defamatory actions against YourBaazar.
Disputes must be raised within 15 days of the incident.
Fraudulent activities by sellers will invite legal action.
Settlements will be paused during active disputes.
YourBaazar reserves the right to adjust payouts against disputes.
